Description
A simple and elegant Victorian oval coral bezel set ring with markings “14kWX” on the inside of the shank. WX is relating to D. Wilcox and Co. from providence, RI. Although little is know about the company, our research found the company began in approximately 1856 closed around 1919, thus dating the ring as Victorian. The long pink and white color coral is bezel set in yellow gold, with a wider yellow gold frame, below the bezel set coral. The ring is high polished, and currently a size 6 1/4 and can be sized. The overall dimensions of the ring are 3/4 inch long by 7/16 inch wide. The coral measures approximately 1/2 inch in length and 1/4 inch wide.
