Platinum Art Deco Diamond and Sapphire Ring

This Art Deco ring is unbelievable!  Hand crafted in platinum, the centerpiece on this dazzler is the 1.04 carat Old European cut diamond, bezel set with double prongs.  Extending down the shoulders of the ring are vivid blue, french cut sapphires are set into a milgrained channel in an elongated triangle shape.  Four more sapphires decorate the north and south sides of the ring.  A round cut and a trillion cut, flush set with a milgrained border.  The rest of the ring is adorned with 34 flashing single cut diamonds surrounded by milgrain details and lacy open metalwork.  As the ring tapers down, intricate engravings finish off the look.  The sapphires in this piece are synthetic, which is typical of the time period.  This ring is also accompanied by a GIA certificate for the center stone.  A piece that will be loved for generations to come.
