This fire opal ring is exquisite! It is made in a thick, heavy 18 karat yellow gold setting that accents the fire opal beautifully! The large, oval, cabochon fire opal is bezel set horizontaly, accented by five (5) small diamonds bead set into the shoulders of the ring on either side. The opal has a beautiful play of color, with flecks of yellows, greens and reds within it’s vivid orange color. Fire opal is generally found in volcanic rock formations in an area of Southern Mexico near the Yucatan Peninsula.
