Antique High Karat Gold Amethyst Brooch

The details in this brooch are astounding! Center prong set in the brooch is a buff top rhombus amethyst. At 2, 4, 6 and 8 o’clock are round amethysts set within a flower motif prong setting. In between the amethysts are 4 frogs, between fine wire work and granulation. The outside rim of the brooch is accented with a twisted wire “rope”. Hanging down below the central part of the brooch is a flower motif set with a small round amethyst. Hanging below that is a a granulated accent top to a drop diamond shape amethyst. Every time you look at this piece you see another new detail. It’s truly spectacular!
