Antique 9 karat yellow gold Victorian Peridot Poison Ring

This 9 karat yellow gold Victorian peridot ring features a center bezel set cabochon peridot with an estimated weight of 1.55 carats. Surrounding the center cabochon are 10 round faceted peridots, bead set. The 10 round peridots have an estimated weight of 0.80 carats, these 11 periodots are set into the hinged lid of the poison ring.The ring features intricate engraving down the shank around the poison compartment of the ring. The ring is a size 8 1/4 and can be sized. The inside of the shank is stamped “375” which indicates 9 karat gold.
